ATLAW Principal Attorney Abathar Tajaldeen participated as a judge for the Annual Canadian and American Transnational Law Moot.

This years event took place on March 25th & 26th, 2023, where students displayed their oral advocacy skills in front of the judges, comprised of prominent lawyers across Ontario & Michigan, Deans, legal professors, judges, as well as notable public dignitaries.

The Canadian & American Transnational Law Moot is the first and only moot of its kind. The Moot is currently open to students at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy, as these two institutions are uniquely situated where students can benefit from both schools' close proximity to the border. The goal is to offer this inaugural Moot to students across all law schools in both Canada and the United States.

The Transnational Law Moot is a competitive moot court competition that gives students interested in transnational law, international law or public law the chance to improve their advocacy skills in a realistic setting.
